Indiana man gets Corvette back 45 years after it was stolen

Rex Hatton used his savings to buy the ’69 Stingray in 1974 after leaving the US Army, only to have his dream car stolen.

The car was discovered by Ohio police in 2018. After some wrangling with insurance companies, Rex and his wife Kay were finally reunited with the car in March this year. Watch the video above for the full story.

An excuse to upload another vintage Corvette ad. How cool is this?

Where the car has been all this time remains a mystery but Rex now hopes to get his beloved Corvette restored.
